Thrive360 Summer Strength

The ROC360 Summer Program serves young people in the 6th-12th grade located in Longview and surrounding areas.
The programming is free of charge, and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.p.m. Monday through Friday at the Paula Martin Jones Recreation Center.
Programming runs from June 19 through July 29.
During this summer program, young people have the opportunity to engage in strength and conditioning activities and fitness training during the morning hours, led by mentors who will also engage them in teaching and character development. In the afternoon, youth learn basketball skills and techniques in a fun and interactive environment, led by local basketball players and mentors. Lunch is provided for all those participating in the program, during which time they engage in educational conversations and teaching through the use of testimonials, inspirational videos, as well as other mediums.
